Dome Home Basic Math Challenge
Why are our dome home plans so different than those that everyone else is offering?
1. Pictures speak louder than words, try this quick, simple experiment. Then compare the results to what the others have to offer.
Find a Round fruit or vegetable with a thick skin (orange, onion,
grapefruit, etc). Cut your object into half, you now have two domes!
Take one dome and cut it into four equal parts, 1/8th of the total or 1/4th of
one dome. CAREFULLY remove the peel or with an onion the first
fleshy segment. What do you have, look at it.. A curved equilateral
triangle, all sides are equal but they are curved. Now, try to flatten it
out, what happened? Did it tear, rip, bow in?
That is why we don't teach you how to make flat triangles to make a round shape, we teach you how to make the curved equilateral triangle, but from 24 curved triangular shapes, that are easy to assemble, put together and handle.... Now, try to do it yourself, when you give up, come back and spend the little bit of money we ask and learn it all.
